Also, weren’t white people doing most of the cocaine in the 80s when cocaine was the drug the government was freaking out about the most? 

Cocaine absolutely was and still is a white people drug. Cocaine is the most expensive drug with the shortest lasting high, so it’s absolutely something rich people use to show status. In general and statistically speaking, white people do more drugs than poc which is part of why the way the war on drugs is being handled is complete bullshit. So yeah, whiteness needs to stop being associated with purity.
